Mobile Testing Turns into an Industry Trend and ATA is Invited to Attend the 16th Annual Conference of ATP

During March 1-4, 2015, the 16th annual conference of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) was held in Palm Springs, California. As the core member of ATP and the founding member of its Asia Division(A-ATP), ATA, the leading testing and assessment service provider in China, was invited to attend the event.

Themed on “Innovations in Testing”, this annual conference received a record breaking number of attendees from over 15 countries; , over 1,000 professionals from the testing industry including global leaders in testing and assessment, measurement experts and industry application managers. During the 4-day event, a total of 16 seminars, 93 workshops, 7 breakout sessions, 8 product exhibitions, 12 innovation showcases and 7 open discussions were conducted, covering topics such as test deployment and delivery mode, business strategy and operation, data management, test security, and psychometric analysis.

As China’s largest computer-based test service provider, ATA focused in the event on the display of its latest testing technologies, products and services, particularly the application of MTS (Mobile Testing System) in testing and education scenarios, arousing wide attention from LinkedIn, Pearson, CFA, NBME and a host of other participants who came to the company’s exhibition booth to inquire about the products and exchanged views. Besides, ATA’s efforts in promoting test/assessment innovation in China were highly recognized by ATP: Dr. William G. Harris, CEO of ATP, met with ATA’s delegation in person; the conference set up two sessions for ATA, in which Mr. Alex Tong, Vice President of ATA, and Ms. Wang Qiushi, Vice Dean of Assessment and Research Institute of ATA delivered speeches on related subjects.

Starting with mobile technologies becoming the industry trend, Mr. Tang gave a speech entitled “Leveraging Mobile Technologies to Enable Secure and Quick Deployment of Test Delivery –with Global Case Studies”; and Ms. Wang Qiushi introduced the application of scenario-based testing in large-scale campus recruitments. Thanks to their exciting and thought-provoking speeches, ATA’s technologies, products and services were again in the spotlight of global practitioners in the testing and assessment industry.
