On June 24th, 2014, ATA signed a contract with Chartered Valuation Analyst Institute (CAV Institute) and JinDuoDuo Education in Beijing on establishing partnership to administer the Chartered Valuation Analyst Examination (CAV Examination) in Mainland China. ATA will provide comprehensive computer-based testing services for the CAV Examination, and leverage on the advantages of the three parties to promote the exam to university students and related practitioners in the financial industry. Mr. Zhao Shuqiu, Vice-President of ATA; Mr. Liu Zhenshan, Executive Director of JinDuoDuo Education; and Ms. Teng Xu, Secretary of CAV Institute attended the signing ceremony.

CAV Institute was established in Hong Kong in 2011. The association developed and launched the CAV Examination to meet the tremendous need for valuation and investment professionals in the financial industry in China. The exam is designed for practitioners engaged in commercial banks, enterprises, asset evaluation institutions, investment banks, private equity institutions, etc, covering financial practices including project investment decision-making, corporate finance, financial analysis, corporation valuation, financial modeling, and credit analysis. The CAV Examination focuses on the candidate’s practical operation ability in actual working environment. Practitioners who have the CAV qualification are qualified for brokerage, investment analysis, corporate financing and investment banking business.

The first CAV Examination is scheduled to be administered in early November, 2014. Accompanying textbooks will be translated and published by JinDuoDuo Education. Main textbooks will be available soon, with more accompanying textbooks and learning materials to be published by JinDuoDuo Education subsequently. The registration is about to begin.
