On April 23, 2010, test takers from 21 insurance companies in Shanghai took the Shanghai Insurance Claimer Examination (Vehicle insurance). The exam was sponsored by Shanghai Bureau of China Insurance Regulatory Commission (Shanghai CIRC), Shanghai Finance Association, and Shanghai Insurance Association (SHIA). ATA was the test delivery service provider.

The test was said to be the first of its kind for vehicle insurance in China. ATA’s technology and operation services helped with the success of the exam.
