On April 3, 2010, the skills proficiency test on Bank of China’s newly launched business application was successfully held in 21 cities in Sichuan province. Staff must pass this exam to take on their posts.

ATA arranged 22 test centers and 88 exam rooms for the test takers. The test includes 6 subjects covering skills assessment for bank tellers, business managers, corporate account managers, and consumer loan account managers. Besides traditional multiple choice questions, the test includes a performance-based component using ATA Dynamic Simulation Testing (DST) technology to create a high-fidelity work place application environment for Bank of China’s IT platform for business management, to assess the skills proficiency of the test takers. In addition to providing technology and delivery platform, ATA offered comprehensive services for this exam including item development, simulation item production, test scheduling, administrations and data analysis.

This has been the first time that DST technology is applied in the official examination of the Bank of China . The services was highly appreciated and complimented by officers of BOC Sichuan Branch.
