On June 4, 2009, ATA and China Futures Association signed agreements on Continued Professional Development Program, in which ATA will be the technology and service provider for the distance education program for continued professional development for China futures professionals. This is another important cooperation between ATA and China Futures Association since ATA became the test delivery service provider for the association in 2003.

According to the agreement, ATA will provide a web-based distance education platform that supports multiple functionalities including online registration, online payment, distance learning platform, online exercise, online technical support and student information management, with a minimum concurrent usage services provided to 5000 students at the same time. Cutting edge online security technologies are employed to effectively authenticate users and protect the integrity and security of the contents and personal information.

In addition, ATA will also provide electronic courseware for the learning program in text, audio and video formats. The platform has also integrated formative assessment technologies and psychometric fingerprint technologies to evaluate the interest, aptitude, involvement and learning progress for continuous assessment. Information will be collected and sent regularly as a feedback to the sponsor. It is believed that the system will significantly improve the learning experience for China futures professionals in their continued professional development.
