ATA hosted a workshop on Talent Development and Qualification Framework Setup on May 22, 2009. Purpose of the workshop is to introduce the importance and share experience of setting up qualification frameworks for different industries.

China lacks qualification system, although the government has set up and maintained a national qualification framework back in 1994, many industrial regulatory authorities still do not have comprehensive systems of their own to standardize the learning and assessment of industry professionals. During the workshop, ATA shared its experience in helping industry associations such as China Securities Association and China Insurance Associations in setting up their job related competency-based qualification framework and learning roadmaps, which received very positive response from the audience. Over 10 professional associations including China Automobile Industry Association, China Enterprise Confederation, China Association of International Trade, and China Association for Quality participated in the workshop.
