Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Quality Model Database for University Students”

On October 18, 2016, the signing ceremony of ATA-Nanjing University partnership on the co-building of state-level demonstration base for entrepreneurship and innovation was held in Nanjing University. The two parties will take this opportunity to conduct in-depth cooperation to promote the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and jointly establish China’s first “Research Center on Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Quality Model Database for University Students”, thus creating the first data model of innovative and entrepreneurial talent quality assessment for university students. 

The partnership with Nanjing University is a crucial step for ATA to penetrate the university campus data market. ATA has accelerated its pace in laying out the university campus data by pouring investments in enterprises such as Apply Square, Klfonline, and Puhuahuitong. Apply Square is a mobile Internet company focusing on higher education field, and it is also one of the world’s largest student learning platform that provides users with tools and database for exploring learning opportunities. Klfonline is the trailblazer of smart teaching services for colleges and universities in China, and is committed to providing student-based innovative education solutions to higher education institutions. Meanwhile, ATA has reached strategic partnership with campus.qq.com, where it connects with WeChat-based university campus learning and employment data platform. ATA will also join hands with investors and partners to participate in the construction and research work of the “Research Center on Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Quality Model Database for University Students”, and create a data chain that links classroom teaching, entrance and campus, and job-seeking and employment, thus building a complete closed-loop data network for on-campus students.

Nanjing University is one of the first higher education institutions sponsored by “Project 985”. For a long time, the university has been continuing its efforts to innovate and reform the talent cultivation mechanism, and playing an active role in providing various industries with talented graduates who are future industrial leaders with entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on experiences and global vision. In May 2016, Nanjing University, together with Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Sichuan University, were among the first batch of universities being selected as demonstration sites for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Nanjing University has practiced a unique and effective education system in terms of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and ATA is an independent professional provider of vocational quality and competence assessment. The “Research Center on Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Quality Model Database for University Students” co-built by the two parties will provide independent third-party quality assessment services to colleges and universities, employers, and university students. Through the Research Center, ATA will build up a quality and competence model for on-campus students, capture and collect relevant data of their learning process via the use of big database, accurately and automatically evaluate the students’ “strengths” and “weaknesses” in learning, particularly in innovation, using machine learning software based on an assessment and analysis algorism of artificial neural network (ANN) and through data captured during their learning process and quality assessment, and finally recommend to them the effective solutions to address their “weaknesses” and enhance their competences.

ATA creates a data chain linking learning process, entrepreneurship and innovation competence and employment evaluation for university students

The data applications and solutions of “Research Center on Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Quality Model Database for University Students” co-built by ATA and Nanjing University will create a complete closed-loop data network linking classroom teaching, entrance and campus, and job-seeking and employment, covering the whole chain from university entrance, to teaching and education process, and to employment after graduation. The Research Center is not only a booster in helping ATA fulfill the mission of building a development roadmap for millions of talents, but an embodiment that ATA’s strategic investment and business plan in the market of university campus and millions of college students has been ascertained and massive results will be seen.
