ATA Cooperates with Tencent to Expand the Market of Campus Recruitment and Internship

Recently ATA and Tencent signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Adhering to the principle of “mutually supplementing advantages and sharing resources”, both parties reached an all-round intent of cooperation on matters related to developing, promoting and operating the campus recruitment and internship module in the college version of “Tencent Smart Campus”, a mobile-end product of education ecology under Tencent. 

 

Leveraging on the channels and resources it has accumulated in the past ten years in test delivery in over 2,000 institutes of higher learning and secondary technical schools, ATA will help expedite promoting the college version of “Tencent Smart Campus” in university campuses. In addition, with hundreds of banks state-owned and foreign-invested enterprises and other entities in need of talents adopting ATA’s campus recruitment examination solutions, and centered around its core testing and assessment technologies and capabilities, ATA will integrate the resources to incorporate campus recruitment, vocational competency training, internship, part-time jobs and other job-hunting services into the college version of “Tencent Smart Campus.”   

 

ATA is already working to realize its plan for an ecological layout of education industry. Its strategic conception, “one body with two wings”, will build upon its core business of testing and assessment and extend its services to both ends of online education and job-hunting services. This objective will be attained through the “two wheels and two wings” model, in other words, it will drive the development of its business through both its self-operated projects as well as data-driven projects from joint investments, and works hard to enhance its market coverage in online education and job-hunting services.   

 

Mr. Ma Xiaofeng, Chairman of the board of directors and CEO of ATA Group, said that project-driven business has always been the strength of ATA. On the other hand, it will be an important strategic deployment of ATA to implement data-driven business model by cooperating with internet giants and provide more content and service products to end users. The cooperation with “Tencent Smart Campus” in the field of campus recruitment and internship is an attempt to implement such a strategy.
