Beijing, China, April 11, 2016 -- ATA Inc. (“ATA” or the “Company”, Nasdaq: ATAI), a leading provider of advanced testing technologies and testing-related services in China, today announced the Company has made an additional strategic investment in Satech (Beijing) Network Education Technology Limited (“Satech”), a related technologies and services provider of SAT studies and other English studies in China.

ATA announced its initial strategic investment in Satech in early 2015, which represented the Company’s first investment in the abroad studies market. Following this additional investment, ATA will continue to work closely with Satech management to help expand its marketing across China, as well as enriching its range of services and products in abroad studies education, while integrating its services into ATA’s other lines of expertise.

In the past year, Satech has successfully launched Cece TOEFL and its accompanying mobile application. Cece TOEFL is the sister product to Satech’s leading SAT product in China and is available at www.cecetoefl.com. Cece TOEFL is a study aid product providing online test preparation and training tools for students seeking to improve their reading comprehension, listening, oral and writing skills in English as they prepare for the TOEFL, a test that is recognized by more than 9,000 colleges and universities in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the U.K. and the United States. While Satech continues to be in the earlier stages of its development, we believe that fortifying our investment in the company will be advantageous in ATA’s efforts to break into the international studies market.”
