National Qualification Examination for Patent Agents 2015 Held Successfully

On November 7th, 8th 2015, national qualification examination for patent agents2015 (NQEFPA 2015) was successfully held in 24 cities of China. This is the first time that computer-based examination format has been adopted for NQEFPA. ATA provided full range of technologies and delivery services throughout the examination.

 

NQEFPA covers three subjects: knowledge on patent law, relevant legal knowledge and work practices of patent agents, of which the test on work practices of patent agents lasts for four hours with a lot of constructed responses items presented in numerous words and pictures. The requirements for test item types and presentation were quite complicated.

 

Based on the characteristics of NQEFPA, ATA not only realized digitalized tests on work practices of patent agents, but adopted innovative test technologies and new presentation formats as well. In an effort to guarantee the friendliness of the candidates’ answers, ATA made technological innovations and breakthroughs in question bookmarks, material presentation and responses input. Compared with other digitalized subjective tests, the subject of work practices of patent agents in NQEFPA made the following innovations: the candidates may add remarks to the material section of the constructed responses questions, and remarks may be revised or deleted; the material sections are presented in two columns so that the candidates may compare and see the contents of different materials; the candidates may check the content of their answers in the preview window after inputting the answers in the answer section; the settings of font size, font color, and background color are offered in the answer section.

 

In addition, in terms of delivery, ATA gave full consideration to stability of electricity supply, data transmission, and emergency plan based on its complexity to ensure the safe completion of the test, which not only met the requirements of the organizer, but also fully appreciate by the candidates.
