On 28th August 2011, the Sponsors Representative Competency Examination, sponsored by the Securities Association of China (SAC), was successfully administered by ATA in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou under the commission by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).

The yearly held examination has attracted attention from the general public.  As expected, it was also a hot topic in the financial field this year. Qualified candidate are called “the gold collar among the gold collars”. Statistics show that a qualified Representative  with several years’ working experience earns over 2 million yuan a year,  some goes ashigh as 5 million.

The Sponsor Representative system has been implemented for 7 years. The main reason for such a high salary range is the low passing rate of the qualification test, which was only 1.05% in the most recent examination in 2010, hitting a record low.

Except for the influence and the passing rate that draw the attention of the society, the Sponsors Representative Entry Examination administered by ATA has also been considered a test of the highest security level in the industry. ATA not only provided its proven computer based testing services including testing technologies, test administrations and delivery, test site monitoring, score processing and data analysis, but also its exclusive security measures including time-related and item bank encryption technologies, randomized item order, onsite photo taking, remote real time video monitoring and holistic proctor supervision to ensure the examination’s security and fairness. In addition, the score-deduction rubrics for wrong answers on true/false questions as requested by the sponsor, has further improved the test reliability.

The professional services, proven technologies and test security solutions of ATA were highly acclaimed by the sponsor, national regulators, the financial industry and the candidates.
