The annual “Innovations in Testing 2011, the 12th annual conference of ATP” was held at Phoenix, Arizona on February 28- March 2, 2011. As a platinum sponsor of the Association of Test Publishers since 2003, ATA led a delegation of over 40 people from China to attend this leading industrial annual event.

Led by Mr. Walter Wang, President of ATA, and other members of ATA senior management, the Chinese delegation consists of 30 officials from China Banking Association, China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center, Certification and Accreditation of China, China Futures Association, Financial Planning Standards Board China Ltd, and China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association. The ATP officials were greatly impressed by the active participation of Chinese delegation in ATP events and hosted a special luncheon to welcome the Chinese delegation.

Mr. Alex Tong, ATA vice president, presented his paper on “Chinese Certification Testing in the Financial Sector”, an overview of the certification test which grew from the ground to millions of test every year in less than 3 years; Alex also co-presented papers with professionals from Hogrefe Verlag GmbH & Co KG of Germany and senior scientist of SHL Group Limited from UK on global talent assessment and a case study of SHL and ATA partnering in meeting assessment needs in China.
