On June 16 and 17, ATA Online and WTW (Towers Watson) jointly organized the 1st Wave®-Certified Evaluator Training Workshop in Beijing. ATA Evaluation Research Institute’s Wave®-certified lecturers carried out two-day Wave® trainings for more than ten senior HR managers from several enterprises.
The 1st Wave®-Certified Evaluator Training goes off smoothly
The Wave®-certified evaluator training courses are designed mainly for HR managers using the Wave® career-style evaluation tools. Offering introductions and trainings from product design, content standards, using skills, and report analysis, the courses gives a detailed introduction of the Wave® career-style evaluation tools, combined with analysis of examples and self-evaluation of participants. The two-day courses were given in the form of group sessions during which the lecturer interacted fully with the trainees and answered their questions.
Targeting HR professionals engaged in organizational development, talent selection & recruitment and management, the Wave®-certified evaluator training courses gives an introduction of Wave® evaluation tools and talent evaluation techniques and skills, thus helping them to become evaluation experts and their enterprises to better identify talents. All the HR professionals present are from Fortune 500 companies from home and abroad and have more than ten years of work experience in the HR industry. During the trainings, they presented the problems that they had encountered in talent recruitment and selection and the practical cases about how they had improved their recruitment efficiency and quality with the said tools. Meanwhile, they also discussed and shared with each other what they had learned from the trainings.
During the training, ATA’s Wave®-certified lecturer first introduced the history of talent evaluation and the latest practices and industry development trends, enabling the participants to understand the basic development concepts of talent selection and recruitment. And the lecturer also introduced several evaluation tools currently applied in the world from the perspective of career evaluation techniques and compared them with Wave® career-style evaluation in analyzing Wave® development ideas and advantages and introducing how to select the evaluation tools of high reliability and validity. The courses also simulated the talent selection and recruitment scenario in the practical work and demonstrated how HR professionals should use Wave® correctly, and analyzed Wave® report, thus enabling HR professionals present to get a grip on Wave® evaluation tools and to understand how to use Wave® report correctly to help them better improve the quality and efficiency of recruitment.
After the two-day high-intensity introductions and analysis of relevant cases, HR managers present basically mastered the theoretical knowledge about Wave® evaluation products and developed a capability of reading Wave® report. In the process of talent recruitment and selection, HR professionals can analyze how well he/she is qualified for the post according to the Wave® evaluation report of candidates and use the evaluation products of the highest reliability and validity to discover talents for the enterprise.
