ATA Named 2016 China Internet Education Future Unicorn Enterprise

On May 12, 2016, the China Internet Education Conference (CIEC) 2016 sponsored by E-Learning magazine under Distance Education in China was held in Beijing. At the invitation of the sponsor, Mr. Ma Xiaofeng, Chairman and CEO of ATA, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech at the event as one of its guest speakers.

Themed “Predicting the future unicorn”, this event brought together more than 500 people from outstanding enterprises in the Internet education industry, investment institutions, fund companies, alliances, service providers and mainstream media, including industry experts and big shots, who jointly witnessed the future industry status of unicorn enterprises. At the awards ceremony of the 2016 China Internet Education Selection on the same day, ATA won the prize of “The 2016 China Internet Education Future Unicorn Enterprise” and the prize of “The 2016 China Internet Education Leading Enterprise” for its unique business advantages in Internet education and its investment layout in the application and tool field at the grass-roots level of Internet education. At the same time, Mr. Ma Xiaofeng was named “The 2016 China Internet Education Leading Figure”.

During his speech, Mr. Ma said, assessment is the cornerstone of online education. ATA will leverage its technologies and data in testing and assessmentand strive to create the development map for millions of talents, and based on assessment, data, and maps, become the data center of education & learning, and occupation and talent, thus establishing the link between people and learning, and people and occupation, realizing regression in education, allowing millions of people to achieve better learning result with less time and cost, matching and pushing learning contents and resources accurately, and helping everyone to obtain better and more accurate opportunities of further education, employment and career development.

During this event, ATA also attended the inaugural ceremony of China Internet Education Leaders Society (CIELS) as the sponsor unit and deputy director-general. CIELS, jointly initiated by Distance Education in China and more than 10 authoritative institutions, leading enterprises, and well-known investors in China’s Internet education field such as i-EDU, ATA, New Oriental, Cybernaut, Asia-Pacific Education Innovation Fund, Zhongguancun MOOC Times Building, and Innovation Works, is a top-level, authoritative, professional, national non-governmental organization (NGO) in China’s Internet education sector. Inheriting the principle of “Developing hand in hand on a equal and mutually beneficial basis”, CIELS is committed to guiding the trend and direction of China’s Internet education, promoting the exchange and development of the Internet education industry, and pushing forward the linkage and cooperation of financing, integration and merger among Internet education enterprises, and driving the coordinated development of the industry by integrating multiple forces and going deep into the Internet education industry.
