On June 03, 2016, 2016 China Online Education Industry Summit was convened in Beijing. It was sponsored by CEDU Media and jointly organized by more than 10 online education organizations and media organizations including China Online Education Industry Association. The summit ceremoniously published China Online Education Top 100 in the Age of “Internet +” with the purpose of identifying new weather rock and new-generation organizations that can lead and guide China’s online education industry. Based on results of online ballot casting and experts’ review, ATA Group was presented with the award of “2016 China Online Education Top 10.” Mr. Zhao Shuqiu, vice executive president of ATA, was invited to attend the summit and obtain the award. 

ATA has been devoting itself to online education business in recent years. By relying on its core examination and testing technologies and the advantages in its competence accumulated over a long period of time, the constant development of its business, investments in ground level applications and instrument of online education, ATA has been actively planning for its development in online education market, and has gradually displayed clearly its business development strategy covering from K12 to academic performance assessment and then to career development. ATA has been presented with the award of “China Online Education Top 10”, showing that it has been recognized by education industry, sponsor of the summit and people in the education industry for its unique position in and outstanding contributions to China’s education industry, particularly the online education industry.  

In 2015, the enthusiasm for online education did not die down in China. After the release of such enthusiasm which was like a blowout, the online education industry is undergoing reshuffling in 2016. Compared with 2015 when start-ups appeared one after another and capitals were input crazily into the online education industry, the online education industry is entering an age characterized by fierce competition of products. In 2016, the funding, merger and acquisition, listing and integration of Chinese enterprises engaged in online education are taking on a new look and showing new trends.   

Representatives from relevant domestic leading departments and research institutes, industry’s experts, CEOs of listed enterprises were invited to attend the summit. They delivered wonderful reports on the latest developments and hot issues in online education industry. Many experts in education industry were also invited to share with the audiences the new development and new future of online education. The summit meeting is an influential event in the online education industry, playing a leading and guiding role and predicting the latest trends.
