On October 17 and 18, 2015, the 2015 National Examination for Certified Public Accountants (Professional stage) was held at the same time in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. 2.04 million tests were taken by more than 777,000 candidates . The examination has set up 887 test sites and 8,915 test rooms in the said regions, creating the new world record incomputer-based testing with the largest number of candidates in a single weekend.

On the afternoon of October 17, Chen Yugui, Director of the Examination Office of the Ministry of Finance and Secretary-General of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, inspected the test sites in Beijing, who was accompanied by ATA directors and Wang Gang, Deputy Inspector of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Certified Public Accountants. During the inspection, Chen Yugui said, the 2015 National Examination for Certified Public Accountants has re-hit an all-time high in the number of candidates. Examination offices at various levelsaround the country has attached great importance to the Examination and overcome challenges to serve the candidates byreasonably arranging the test sites, thus ensuring the smooth progress of the event. Chen Yugui requested that examination offices at various levelsaround the country should do their best in the service work in accordance with the instructions and spirit of the Ministry of Finance and strictly guard against various possible emergencies and violations that may happen during the Examination.

The Ministry of Finance has dispatched 8 inspection teams to the sites around the country to check and supervise the Examination. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the Examination, ATA has made an all-out effort by sending thousands of professional supervisors and supporting staffto the sites to offeron-site technical support to manage and control the process of the Examination in a real-time manner.

The smooth implementation of the 2015 National Examination for Certified Public Accountants has once again fully proved the reliability, stability and cutting-edge of ATA’s computer-based testing solutions in technologies, test delivery and services. This Examination, with2.04 million tests, a year-on-year increase of 25.9 percent, has created anew world record in computer-based testing with the largest number of candidates tested in a single weekend.
